The Chartered Insurance Institute of London (IIL) is hosting an upcoming webinar entitled 'The Thomas Cook Story – The Inside View' which our Chief Business Officer, Zoë Layden will have the honour of moderating.
In this webinar, Dame Deirdre Hutton (Formerly Chair (2009 - 2020) of Civil Aviation Authority) will discuss the failure of Thomas Cook, how it was handled, what the main lessons were, and how this is an exemplar of the challenges that can face regulators. She will also illustrate how regulators work, how they can improve, what can be learnt, and what the role of leadership is in a crisis.
