Specialist private jet cancellation provider, Falcon MGA Services, has teamed up with former Global CEO of Aon's Aviation Specialty insurance Peter Schmitz to form JetSure USA. JetSure USA will have exclusive rights to market the JetSure Aircraft on Ground (AOG), Flight Cancellation Insurance in the United States. Joining Schmitz at JetSure will be Chad Ingram, professional pilot and entrepreneur.
The JetSure insurance package insures companies against the often unbudgeted and unexpected financial costs incurred in the event their aircraft suffers a technical fault.
Schmitz, a 35-year veteran has focused on Business Aviation through-out his entire career. He said: "We're excited to join forces with Falcon MGA's successful team in London to offer this innovative product to business jet operators and private jet charter operators in the US." Ingram added: "As a professional pilot, jet aircraft owner and operator, I understand the costs involved in AOG, such as lost revenue and extra costs involved in providing back up lift. These can be significant, and we have a solution that can balance out clients' indirect costs and even make their operations more competitive."
Schmitz added: "The JetSure insurance package covers many expenses not covered in your aviation insurance policy such as the cost to replace an aircraft AOG, re-location of the aircraft, crew costs and many other expenses not covered by standard aviation policies. The formal launch of JetSure USA is expected to be at this year's NBAA-BACE October 12-14 in Las Vegas, NV.
